Crazy Rich Russia is struggling. They are suspected of wanting to hide their assets so that they are not confiscated by the European Union or other parties, as a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
This includes superyachts worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Here are 6 superyachts belonging to Russia’s Crazy Rich that have been confiscated so far.
The first superyacht was the Dilbar. The ship belonging to Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov was seized by the German government a few weeks ago.
Dilbar is the largest superyacht in the world. The value is unmitigated, reaching US$ 830 million (equivalent to Rp. 12 trillion if converted into rupiah).

The second superyacht that was seized was the Amadea ship belonging to the Russian Muslim businessman, Suleiman Kerimov. Amadea was confiscated in Fiji by the United States.
The 106-meter long ship is known to be sailing to Vladivostok, Russia from Fiji. However, only briefly docked in Fiji, the ship worth US$ 436 million (equivalent to Rp. 6.3 trillion) was immediately confiscated.
3. Sailing Yacht A
The next superyacht is named Sailing Yacht A for US$ 808 Million (equivalent to Rp. 11.7 Trillion) belonging to Crazy Rich Russia named Andrey Melchinenko. This ship was successfully seized while in Italian waters.
The superyacht named Lena, owned by Crazy Rich Russia, Gennady Timchenko, was also seized on the coast of San Remo, Italy.
5. Lady M
Crazy Rich Russia’s superyacht, Lady M, was also seized in Imperia, Italy. This ship is known to belong to the super rich Alexei Mordashov.
6. Amore Vero
France has seized the Russian Crazy Rich superyacht, Igor Sechin. The news was conveyed by the French Minister of Finance, Bruno Le Maire.
Bruno Le Maire called the seized superyacht the ‘Amore Vero’. In Italian, the ship’s name means True Love.
The superyacht, which has an estimated price of more than US$ 120 million (equivalent to Rp. 1.72 trillion), is known to have been docking at the port of La Ciotat in the French Mediterranean Sea since last January.
The ship was due to set sail from port on April 1. But before they could sail, the superyacht was seized by the French government.
