There is a company introducing a capsule design that will take a casual traveler into space. This capsule will take you to the year 2024.
A company called Space Perspective touts will take tourists into space in 2024. They also unveiled the design of the plane that will take tourists out of this Earth. They also pride themselves on being the first company to bring the luxury experience of travel into space.
The name of this plane is Spaceship Neptune which is claimed to be carbon neutral. The shape is round, similar to an astronaut’s helmet.

The capsule is being patented and is currently being produced near the Space Perspective Operations Center at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
“Our exclusive flight system means that capsules and Space Balloon always connected, and takeoff and landing conditions are always within our control,” Taber MacCallum, founder, co-CEO, and chief technology officer Space Perspective as written by Travel+Leasure, Monday (1/8/2022).
“The team has come together to create an incredibly robust, secure and incredibly elegant and luxurious system for Spaceship Neptune. Simplicity and automation are the keys to safety.”
Travelers who venture into space with this capsule will experience a six-hour round trip, including a two-hour descent to Earth.
The ticket price they offer is USD 125 thousand per person (Rp 1.8 billion). Passengers will sit in luxurious reclining chairs and cruise 20 miles above Earth. The capsule will even have Wi-Fi so passengers can capture every detail about the experience and beam it back down to Earth.

The company isn’t the only one offering space tours. In the last few years, space tourism has experienced quite a development of aircraft.
For example, Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin and Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic, which carry passengers into space.
Travelers may soon be able to spend the night looking down at Earth when the Orbital Assembly Voyager Station opens. The hotel, which is projected to open in 2027, will feature accommodation for up to 280 guests and even have villas available for purchase as vacation homes.
