Campaign for #LiburanDiIndonesiaAja, 5 Photographers Hold a Ciamik Exhibition

Jakarta

In the #LiburanDiIndonesiaAja campaign, 5 photographers who love nature held a photo exhibition entitled ‘Heavenly Indonesia Photo Exhibition’.

The photo exhibition visualizes ‘pieces of heaven’ scattered in various regions, from the eastern to the western tip of Indonesia. This effort is carried out to support the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy’s campaign so that local tourists do not have to travel far if they just want to enjoy the beauty of nature, because Indonesia is the ‘Paradise of the World’.

It is not wrong if the British travel book publisher, Rough Guides Ltd, calls Indonesia the most beautiful destination in the world or is narrated with the word ‘Serpihan Heaven’.

President Joko Widodo himself in his Twitter account once said, “The rural atmosphere, the serenity of a remote island, to the top of its mountains, strengthens Indonesia as a world-class tourist destination,”

The Media Children Association (HAM) in collaboration with the Content Creator ‘Heavenly Indonesia’, the National Direction Strategic Forum (FOSTRAB), and Digra Coffee & Eatery also held a photo exhibition with the title ‘Heavenly Indonesia Photo Exhibition’ which was held on Sunday night (24/7/ 2022) at Digra Coffee & Eatery, Lebak Bulus II, No, 21, South Jakarta.

Some of the areas that are highlighted for their beauty in this photo exhibition are the natural beauty of Belitung, and Mandeh Island, West Sumatra, and Pahawang Island in Kab. Tanggamus, Lampung. All from the island of Sumatra

Then for the island of Java, there are Ijen craters, Banyuwangi, East Java, Mount Bromo, via Probolinggo, Ranu Kumbolo, Ranu Klakah, in Lumajang, East Java. Then from Yogyakarta, a beautiful photo of Menoreh Hill was exhibited in the morning.

Arborek Island, which is now designated as a participant in the 2022 Indonesian Tourism Village Award, is the only photo that represents the eastern part of Indonesia. The clarity of Arborek beach is a true fact that can be revealed from behind the camera lens.

Rizki Handayani, Deputy for Tourism Product Development and Events (Events) Kemenparekraf appreciated the photo exhibition event ‘Heavenly Indonesia Photo Exhibition’ which lasted for 1 month.

“I really support this activity, considering that photos are “tell thousand words”. And this is very important in promoting tourism,” he said when asked for a written statement.

Meanwhile, Ir Achmad Hafisz Thohir MBA, member of Commission XI DPR RI and Deputy Chairman of the BKSAP DPR RI, emphasized that the DPR RI has full commitment in encouraging the realization of the achievement of SDGs in the tourism sector.

“Indonesia has great potential to develop superior tourism from various tourism sectors, both educational tourism and panoramic tourism,” he concluded.
