Had Stopped 2 Years, Citilink Returned to Fly PP to Kuala Lumpur

Citilink airline returns to fly the Jakarta-Kuala Lumpur PP international route starting today, July 15, 2022. Flights will take place every day.

In a media meeting the President Director Citilink, Dewa Kadek Rai, said that this flight is expected to increase tourism. And also make a positive contribution to the economy.

“At the beginning of the pandemic, we stopped flights to Kuala Lumpur. One of them was due to the increasing number of infection cases and certain rules that must be implemented by passengers,” said Dewa at Soekarno Hatta Airport Terminal 3, Friday (15/7/2022).

“And today we are reopening pilots to Kuala Lumpur. After 2 years of not going abroad, we offer a destination in Kuala Lumpur that we expect from either Indonesia or Malaysia,” he added.

For flights to Kuala Lumpur, Citilink uses Airbus 320 aircraft which has a capacity of 180 seats.

“We will fly every day, 7x a week. For the beginning of this flight, we provide special prices starting from Rp. 1.6 million. Every day 1 PP flight,” he added.

Dewa hopes that the opening of the Jakarta-Kuala Lumpur Citilink route will be able to increase tourism and the Indonesian economy with Malaysia. He hopes that the future flights will go well.

The Jakarta-Kuala Lumpur route will add Citilink’s international flight services between Indonesia and Malaysia. Where previously opened the Medan-Penang PP route which has been operated since June 10, 2022.
