VP of Public Relations of KAI Joni Martinus said that the rules for taking trains on Lebaran Transportation are still in accordance with the SE of the Ministry of Transportation Number 39 and 49 of 2022. Following are the complete requirements for traveling using long-distance trains:

a) The third vaccine (booster) does not need to show a negative Covid-19 screening result
b) The second vaccine must show a negative result of Rapid Antigen Test 1×24 hours or RT-PCR test 3×24 hours
c) The first vaccine must show a negative result of the 3×24 hour RT-PCR test
d) Not/has not been vaccinated for medical reasons must show a doctor’s certificate from a government hospital and a negative result of the 3×24 hour RT-PCR test

“Customers who do not complete the requirements will be refused to leave and are welcome to cancel their tickets,” said Joni.

KAI advised customers not to bring excess luggage or valuables that are too conspicuous. In addition, KAI also appeals to customers to set the arrival time at the train station. Ideally the customer arrives at the station 45-60 minutes before the departure of his train.

The aim is to anticipate traffic jams to and from the station, avoid the risk of being left behind by the train, avoid queuing at boarding because there is an inspection of travel requirements, provide sufficient time for those who have to do antigen screening at the station, and make it easier for officers to break down the density at the station according to health protocols. .

“KAI appreciates all customers who have used KAI’s services in this Eid transportation and have complied with the established rules so that they can enjoy a safe, healthy and comfortable train journey together,” concluded Joni.
