Meanwhile, traditional ceremonies that are not allowed to be seen by tourists are the nutu pare jang apostle, the seren taun apostle, the return of the rendang year, the pare pare apostle in leuit, and panadaran.

“It’s okay to visit, but there are things that shouldn’t be visited, namely nutu pare in leuwit and close apostles seren taun,” he said.

Through the seren taun ceremony, Yoyo hopes that the government can continue to support traditional ceremonies carried out by the Kasepuhan community.

In line with the Regent of Lebak Iti Octavia Jayabaya said that the diversity of cultures and traditions in Lebak must be preserved for posterity. Cultural diversity is a wealth for Lebak Regency.

“With the wealth that we have, namely the culture, traditions, sites and traditional culture in Lebak Regency. This is one of our efforts to realize the vision of tourism. Indeed, this has become a tour, because every year many people come,” said Iti.

Iti said, the traditional seren taun ceremony already existed and was formed from a community movement, the government must continue to support these activities.

“This is an advantage for us to promote an event. This (seren taun) already exists and is formed from a community movement. Maybe if it is funded by the government, the government will not be able to make it. So let’s keep the existing culture and traditions to support post-pandemic tourism for the economic revival of the community,” he concluded.
