  • 250 g glutinous rice
  • 1 sachet (65 ml) instant coconut milk
  • 250 ml water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 pandan leaf, cut into pieces
  • Toppings:
  • Sweet thick
  • Grated Cheddar Cheese
  • Banana Gapit:
  • 10 plantains
  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • Kinca Sauce:
  • 200 ml water
  • 40 ml of instant coconut milk
  • 80 g brown sugar, finely comb
  • 70 g sweetened condensed (SKM)
  • 1 pandan leaf
  • 1 tbsp tapioca flour dissolved in 50 ml of water
How to Make Tansuke Banana Gapit:
  1. Tansuke : Cook glutinous rice with a solution of coconut milk, salt & pandan using a rice cooker the same as cooking rice, stirring occasionally so that it is evenly distributed.
  2. Cook until the glutinous rice is cooked.
  3. Banana Gapit:
  4. Flatten the bananas on a cutting board.
  5. Melt the margarine in a frying pan, then roast the bananas until browned, remove from heat.
  6. Kinca Sauce: Mix all ingredients except tapioca solution, cook in a saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally.
  7. After boiling, add tapioca solution, stir until thickened.
  8. Take sticky rice from the rice cooker, put it on a plate, top it with sweet and thick cheese according to taste.
