The one-way system for Lebaran 2022 will be implemented to prevent traffic jams. The Banjaratma Rest Area in Brebes can be visited if travelers need a break.

For the homecoming and return flows for Lebaran 2022, the government implements a one-way route from the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road to the Kalikangkung toll gate. This one way is valid from 28 April to 1 May 2022 and will be continued on 6-8 May 2022.

One of the rest areas that one way passes is Rest Area KM 260 B Banjaratma on the Pejagan-Pemalang Toll Road. This 10-hectare rest area is ready to accommodate travelers who are tired when one way is implemented.

detikcom had a chance to talk with the manager of the rest area to find out the facilities that travelers would get when they stopped there. Finance Director of PT PP Sinergi Banjaratma Allan Nasution explained, parking lots and toilets have been alerted in case of a surge in travelers.

“We have made a one-way loop. We have also added about 50 emergency toilets and a parking lot for a capacity of more than 300 cars,” said Allan.

With the addition of 50 toilets, the Banjaratma Rest Area will operate 150 toilets with qualified facilities for travelers. detikcom looked at one of the toilets in the VIP category which was clean and the toilet was equipped with advanced technology like in a hotel.

In addition, the Banjaratma Rest Area also collaborates with car repair shops, namely Toyota, Mitsubishi, and Wuling. This workshop will help travelers to check and repair the condition of their vehicles so that they can continue their homecoming journey safely.

Then there is also the Pertamina Standby Command Post which will ensure sufficient fuel for travelers when the one way system is implemented. If you want to withdraw cash, an ATM is also provided and for those who want to exchange money for Eid, this rest area also cooperates with Bank Indonesia to provide it.

The Banjaratma Rest Area also has a medical room for sick travelers. If the body aches, you can also take advantage of the massage chair facilities there.

Not to forget, the Banjaratma Rest Area provides 192 tenants who sell drinks, food, and souvenirs typical of Brebes. For those who want to pray, they can also take advantage of the As Safar Mosque.

Allan appealed to travelers to take good advantage of and follow the rules in the rest area, including the question of a maximum duration of 30 minutes to be there.

“Follow the flow because our rest area is large. Keep it clean and especially for toilets, look for empty ones, don’t pile up in one location. Hopefully those who visit the Banjaratma Rest Area can feel safe and comfortable,” he concluded.
