Yamaha Mio M3 gets a new color, the price is cheaper than the Honda BEAT

PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) has refreshed one of its flagship entry-level scooters, the Yamaha Mio M3. The 125 cc motorbike now has a new color choice.

Yamaha claims the Mio M3 is in demand by young Indonesians. Departing from this, Yamaha has now adopted a fresher color with gradations of three bright colors.

“By providing a contemporary color combination combined with graded graphics, the Yamaha Mio M3 is more modern so that consumers can still look young and trendy when using this Yamaha scooter option,” said Antonius Widiantoro, Asst. General Manager Marketing – Public Relations of PT YIMM in an official statement received by detikcom, Monday (5/9/2022).

Yamaha Mio M3 125 comes with 4 (four) new colors, the Metallic Cyan color as the mainstay color of the combination of Cyan and silver colors combined with orange and purple gradations making it more fresh and trendy.

Then the Metallic White color is a combination of white and yellow with a combination of Cyan and black colors.

The third color, Metallic Red, is a combination of red and black, combined with yellow and blue gradations.

Finally, Metallic Black, a combination of black and gray combined with black and white gradations with additional red and cyan graphics.

“We hope this can also answer the wishes of today’s consumers while providing more color choices that match their character and driving style,” added Anton.

There is nothing different from the other specifications, for example the Yamaha M3 still uses a 125 cc Blue Core engine. As for the features, Smart Stand Side Switch as a reminder for drivers to raise standards before driving, smart lock system where with just one finger the rider can lock the brakes when stopping on an incline or descent so as to make motorcyclists more practical and safe.

In terms of price, the Yamaha Mio M3 will face the Honda BEAT. The Yamaha Mio M3 sells for IDR 17,135,000 OTR Jakarta, while the Honda Beat is currently selling for IDR 17,620,000.
