Yamaha WR155R Gets Recall, These Components Will Be Replaced


PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) conducted a recall campaign for their trail model, the WR155R. This recall is carried out because there is one problematic component that has the potential to interfere with motor control. What component is it?

The announcement of the recall of the Yamaha WR155R was delivered directly by YIMM on the official Yamaha Indonesia website. It is stated that this recall is the manufacturer’s commitment to provide the best products and satisfactory service to customers.

“In the product evaluation process which is carried out regularly, Yamaha found that a further inspection is needed on the Bearing Front Wheel component (93306-202X8) (related to the stability function of the front wheel),” wrote Yamaha Indonesia in the announcement.

As a form of the manufacturer’s commitment to improve the quality of its products, Yamaha will replace the Bearing Front Wheel parts (93306-202X8) for free with an estimated processing time of 45 minutes, for the WR155R unit with the frame number MH3DG3710LK001001 – MH3DG3710NK043560.

The recall program for the Yamaha WR155R will be carried out simultaneously in all dealers, Yamaha Central, and Yamaha Flagship Shops starting on August 8, 2022.
